Creative Director Paul Leisegang promise premium African fashion, presented through a culturally appropriate, magical and spiritual experience.
MADE IN AFRICA SS/2020 will make its New York Fashion Week debut, 5 September 2019 at Pier59 Studios and will feature four cotemporary young African fashion designers all making their debut on the catwalks of New York.

Basking in the Osun River
For the SS20 collection, the muse goes through a re- birth in the sweet waters of West Africa, channeling its protective diety. An homage to the Aje, honouring the woman who yields cosmic powers and her force of creation and sustainer of life.
Herein, the gentle nature of female embodiment offers healing and empowerment that inspired this collection. With muted rosé, soft beige and an extraordinary variety of blues, the collection embodies vivid sparkles, with a soft- ness and intricacy in silvery textures. The accents of pink stand out in the midst of whites and blacks that easily make this collection go from day to night. The clothing emits a delicacy through the fine tailored features, and refined fitting in contrast with flowy silhouettes, all the while staying true to the timeless signature of Eliana Murargy.
OVERVIEW
Next morning the not-yet-subsided sea rolled in long slow billows of mighty bulk, and striving in the Pequod’s gurgling track, pushed her on like giants’ palms outspread. The strong, unstaggering breeze abounded so, that sky and air seemed vast outbellying sails; the whole world boomed before the wind. Muffled in the full morning light, the invisible sun was only known by the spread intensity of his place; where his bayonet rays moved on in stacks. Emblazonings, as of crowned Babylonian kings and queens, reigned over everything. The sea was as a crucible of molten gold, that bubblingly leaps with light and heat.
